I came to TBR as a stray from Greenville NC. I did not have a great life until I became a TBR beagle, but even with everything I have been through, my heart is pure gold and I am a beautiful, spunky senior boy. I love my canine friends and I really enjoy playing with them. I also like to curl up on a comfy chair and taking a nap. I have never turned down a treat and I think belly rubs are so awesome. If you have a free hand I will gently remind you to use it to give me lovin' ! As you can see by my pictures I am being treated for some skin issues--which have improved so much since I settled into my loving foster home and they get better every day. I also have a heart murmur which requires daily medication. I developed painful growths in my ear due to chronic ear infections and had ear surgery in June (thank you to all who donated to help defray the cost of surgery!). The procedure left me deaf in one ear but I can hear just fine out of the other—and I am pain free!! My foster mom says that I am a very good beagle boy. I have excellent indoor manners and am house and crate trained. Do you have room in your heart and your home for a loving, senior beagle?

Due to years of infection and neglect, I had to have both of my ear canals removed. So, I am deaf. But, I promise I always know when it's meal time or walk time!
