I came to TBR from the Durham APS. I was found as a stray and believed to be pregnant. After visiting the vet it was determined that I was just a little chunky--not pregnant--so I am now looking for my forever home! Like any good beagle I love to eat and thoroughly enjoy my meal times. I also like belly rubs, snuggles and being held like a baby. I haven't quite figured out toys just yet but maybe one day! I am great with my canine and feline friends alike.
I was named through TBR's Name A Dog Donation Program by Robert C Meehan. Robert wrote: “My first of seven rescues. Adopted at four months in 1977. Was literally an admirable dog. She was brave, smart and tireless. She died in 1988 and my wife and I cried like babies. We have had six rescues since then and lived them all but Shana was one in a million.”
I send warm snuggles to my sponsor Bethany Stafford-Smith given in loving memory of Yaya.
