I was found as a stray by a Good Samaritan (and previous TBR adopter!) who tried to locate my owner but was unsuccessful so they reached out to TBR who took me in and promised to give me an awesome life! I am a petite, handsome beagle boy. I have not had a great life up to this point but things sure are turning around for me. I am shy at first but warm up when shown love and kindness. I learned very quickly that one of my all time favorite thing are belly rubs I also like my canine friends, meal times & sniffing around in the back yard. I think my crate is pretty cool too, it is so comfy and cozy and makes me feel safe.
Update from my foster mom 4/2/2017
Pilot is becoming a lot less nervous! He loves to play outside. He is completely potty trained. He still loves his crate but insisted his crate be moved beside his Beagle brother crates. The lab brother can still make him nervous at times. He eats better in his crate where he feels safe & his food bowl is safe. He can be picky about treats. He likes squeaky toys & belly rubs. He hasn't quite figured out fetch yet but he tries. When inside he loves to watch out the window. He likes to carry his crate blanket around the house, he doesn't chew holes, just carries it. His idea home would be one with older children who understand he nervous sometimes.
Pilot is being sponsored by Amie McClure in memory of Sprout, Sprouters, Mr. Sprout, our crump catcher assistant. You will be missed, you were a special pup and hold a special place in Paul and my hearts.
