I was dropped off at a vet's office by someone who found me wandering around in the woods with no collar or microchip. No one claimed me and it was apparent I had been homeless for a while based on the condition I was in. A Good Samaritan stepped up and offered to foster me and taught me all about living a new indoor life. I have settled in nicely and am ready to find a forever home. I love chewing on antlers, cuddling, sunbathing, eating, curling up on the couch, giving kisses and exploring new places. I get along great with other dogs, my foster pal is two years old and we play and play until I just can't play any more. I am AOK with the resident cat although he is not real fond of me..oh well! I love to curl up on the couch or on a soft dog bed. I am a quiet boy and I will only bark when I am outside and I want to be inside. I am a curious beagle and food motivated so I will also hang around and try to see what you are eating. I would do best in home with another dog or at least with a human who is around quite a bit. I don't like to be alone and I will cry because I just want company!
This is what my foster mom said about me: Paul is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. I love bringing him anywhere that allows dogs because so many people come up to me to pet and fawn over him. He is so funny when I feed him because he makes cute little excited jumps at my feet. I also love that he plays with my Pitbull, despite how much bigger she is than him. He cheats by nibbling her ankles, it is adorable.
