Tiny 14 lb. MIMI was surrendered to the shelter by a hunter. The shelter reached out to us as they knew her chances of getting out of the shelter with a limp as bad as hers were bleak. We busted her out and took her directly to the vet who quickly discovered that she had not one, not two but THREE broken legs. We do not know what accident, abuse or neglect she went through to sustain such horrible injuries, but we knew we had to help her immediately. She had a consult at the NC State Veterinary Hospital today 12/12/2017. They decided to perform surgery on the leg that was the most severely damaged (front left leg) and monitor the other two leg injuries as they continue to heal. She had surgery on 12/12/2017 and made it through like the little trooper that she is! This little beagle is one of the toughest we have seen in quite some time. She has endured so much pain and suffering in her short life, we are working really hard to turn her life around for her. How can you help, you ask??? Her vet care and surgery expenses have topped $4000, please consider making her holiday season a bright one by donating to help cover her vet expenses. www.tribeagles.org/contribute
