Hi! My name is Lily. It's nice to meet you! The past few days have been a whirlwind. I was found as a stray in Virginia and was rescued by the awesome people at Halifax Rescue Squad. They contacted TBR and the next thing you know, I am in a car on the way to Raleigh! I have had all of my vet work done and the vet says I am happy and healthy! I was a little bit scared at first, but my foster mom says that I am settling in nicely. I spent my first night in my foster home on a dog bed on the floor and I am proud to say that I slept through the night with no problem! Today, I even played with some stuffed toys! I think I am going to like it here. I can't wait to find a home of my own!
Update from Lily's foster mom 10/23/2018: Update from Lily’s Foster Mom: Lily is doing great after almost two weeks in her foster home. She would do best in a quiet home with an older person or couple and a secure fenced yard. Lily’s new family will need to show her lots of love and patience while she adjusts to her new home. She will warm
up quickly with the right family.

So far, I like checking out the back yard with my foster brothers, being brushed and getting gentle pets from my foster mom. I would probably do best in a quiet home where I can relax.
