What is the purpose of a foster home?
A foster home is a temporary placement for our beagles. The foster parents will be responsible for basic housetraining, socialization, health maintenance and temperament assessment of their foster beagle. Foster parents are relied upon to assess the personality of the dog and identify any behavioral issues that need to be worked on. Basic things such as walking and assessing the dogs behavior on a leash, crate training and house training, if needed. The more information the foster family can provide a potential adopter, the more likely the ultimate placement of the dog will be a successful one.
